* Heal with organic special meals inspired by local sous chef of Cafe Bliss, Nicolas Sandoval, included is a living foods talk to help deepen your understanding of the power of your food.
* Take in adventure by surfing, kayaking or hiking. All levels welcome. If you are new to surfing we will set you up with local surf school, same goes with Kayaking and hiking.
* Book a private yoga therapy session, swim in the ocean, take a surf lesson or simply read a book.

Group lessons offer three hours of quality surf instruction with no more than five students to one instructor.
The lesson starts on the beach where you learn all about
- Equipment usage and care
- Ocean safety
- Surf etiquette
- Proper surfing technique
Then after a quick stretch we head out to waist deep water where you’ll enjoy catching tons of whitewater waves and learn from the tips our experienced instructors have to share.
*Prerequisites – students must have basic swimming skills and be 12 years or older (over 5 ft and 100 lbs).

Our yoga journey begins with an early morning meditation to induce calm and relaxation. After a tea, a revitalizing yoga practice is offered incorporating physical postures and breathing practices.After your day of adventure or rest join us for a relaxing yin, or deep stretch, practice to soothe your mind and muscles.Our Special Guest Jackie Dumaine will join us on throughout the weekend to share, The Yoga Code: The Yoga Code is a step-by-step process to teach you how the ancient wisdom of Yoga can be applied to our modern world, creating extraordinary shifts in all areas of your life – money, career, health, family, relationships.

Jessica is a health and yoga enthusiast for 15 years, now based in Victoria, BC and the Gulf Islands. She combines her knowledge of Therapeutic Massage, Yoga, Thai Yoga Massage, Functional Anatomy, Soft Tissue Release and nutrition to provide a holistic approach to pain, injury and their prevention. “My mission is to Make Yoga Easy by teaching core skills for a conscious yoga and life practice.”

Our food is lovingly and expertly prepared by Nicolas Sandoval, sous chef of Cafe Bliss, Victoria, BC. Nicolas is passionate about wild, living foods and preserving our foods natural state as much as possible. While preparing our healing foods Nicolas infuses his meals with a French flare. He originates from Southern France, a small town called Bordeaux. His menu for this retreat will include traditional French Culinary masterpieces combined with his passion for wild living raw foods. Nicolas will present a Living Foods talk to discuss the value of keeping our foods alive, the benefits of Spring Water, the value of mushrooms in our forest, as well, the most current healthy living strategies. Our Retreat starts with Dinner at the Eco Lodge 530pm March 23. Arrivals should be planned anytime in the afternoon.Our time together will end with Brunch at 11am March 25.
We recommend contacting Tracey Mcewan, 1 866 210 6135, with Flight Center, to arrange your flight and travel if your coming from afar. Tracey is local to the island and is available to answer all your travel questions. We also recommend having a vehicle if you are wanting to explore the island more….there is much to take in here!
